PROJECT PREPARATION
Measure the site. Then configure the right product.
Good site information reduces revisions, surprises and avoidable manufacturing mistakes. Start with the product and approximate dimensions, then have the final site details confirmed before approving the Formal Quote.
BEFORE YOU MEASURE
Use the product as the starting point.
A cassette awning, a Zip Blind and a pergola do not use the same measurement logic. Choose the likely product first, then follow the dimensions requested in its configurator.

Choose the product
Open the relevant configurator before recording final dimensions. It shows the product-specific size fields and operating choices.

Measure in millimetres
Use a metal tape. Take more than one reading where the opening or supporting structure may not be perfectly square.

Record the surroundings
Photograph the overall site, fixing area, nearby doors, gutters, pipes, lights and other possible obstructions.

Have the site confirmed
The person responsible for installation must confirm final measurements, structure, fixings, access, compliance and electrical requirements.

Keep these images ready for Technical Review. A few clear views are more useful than many close-ups without context.
Overall view
Show the full wall, opening, patio or structure and the intended product position.
Fixing surface
Show the wall, beam, slab or frame where the product may be fixed.
Obstructions
Include gutters, downpipes, eaves, doors, lights, services and nearby boundaries.
Access & power
Show delivery and installation access, plus the proposed power location for motorised products.
